Are You Getting Sleep?

It’s important that you get your rest

Last night I slept for only three hours.

It’s fine.

No problem at all.

I don’t think it’s affecting me, but I’m pretty sure that something is wrong.

What could be the cause of this?

  • Not enough exercise
  • Too much worry
  • Drinking excess coffee
  • Unresolved issues

The first step is that I really need to get more exercise. I’ve got to go back to doing hundreds or thousands of steps every single day. Yes, I stopped my regular physical activity and I’m sure I can point to the reasons why. But it’s got to be a part of every one of my days.

The next step is that it’s important to try not to worry so much. Seriously, worrying at night is going to prevent you from getting the rest that you need.

Well, every day I hear about massive layoffs and big bankruptcies. That’s pretty frightening. I get the feeling that this is just the beginning of more of the same, even though I’m hoping for the best.
