Books Make Great Gifts
Consider wrapping a wonderful book as a gift to friends or family members this year
I love books. Seriously.
Recently I was in a bookstore in California. Half of me was just thankful that you can find a bookstore that sells actual printed books that you can hold.
That sounds strange.
You see, what the advent of the internet and e-books, there was talk of the printed book going the way of the dinosaur.
People would talk about the end of brick and mortar shops, and how all of that would disappear forever.
Guess what, my friend?
Bookstores are back!
Just take a look at the book covers in three photos. As for me, I can certainly find some that I would like to take home.
I don’t even know these books and authors, but one thing is true. The publisher did a great job of making interesting book covers. Goodness, I could have stayed at the bookstore for hours looking at these books.
I heard somebody in the bookstore say, “We can get a lot of these from the library so don’t buy too many."
