Cheer For Yourself!
Give good advice to your own self and believe that you can do well in life and succeed
I had a tough week.
It’s too much to talk about right now, other than to say that I reminded myself of something that is easily forgotten. I try to say this phrase when I look in the mirror.
“Cheer for yourself.”
What does it mean?
Well, my friend, it’s easy to cheer for others and wish them well. If you go to an event for someone else, it is a rather fun and simple task to clap for them, to say their name out loud, and to take pictures and video. That is what they call cheering for and supporting somebody else.
But what about you? After all, especially as we got older, there seems to be fewer people cheering for us, encouraging us, and doing anything and everything possible to help us succeed.
What about the days when we feel all alone, when nobody calls or texts, when everybody else is living their busy lives?
Who is there to celebrate us? I pray that we never run out of friends and family members who think wonderful thoughts about us and offer helpful advice.
