Detour: Writer At Work
Find a good space to write or you might get interrupted and then lose your focus
Writing is often about getting an idea and running with it while you have the momentum.
What can stop that?
Interruptions!
That’s right. Unwanted distractions can have a seriously unwelcome and negative effect on the writing process.
Make sure you have a good, quiet space for yourself when you do your writing. Some people like music in the background so that is fine too. Find your pure comfort space or spaces.
Above all else, find your zone so that you can focus on writing or creating content. Then make sure everybody knows that this is your dedicated space and time to do your written work.
Don’t Lose It
While you are in your writing space, make sure you have pens, paper or electronic devices.
One you get an idea, whatever it is, write it down as soon as possible. Write quickly. Every little bit could be important.
