Don’t Get Distracted!

Write your story without delay

This morning I was about to start on a new piece of content and then I got distracted. That was a mistake.

Why?

It’s too easy to get distracted these days which can lead to delays in writing, publishing, and networking with other writers.

Distractions can be from:

• Breaking news
• Personal struggles
• Financial matters
• Household chores
• Beautiful sunsets
• Dirty clothes
• Vacation plans
• And on and on

Success will find you if you open the doors. That’s not just for being a writer. It’s a good philosophy for life.

For content creators, you open the doors by creating new content for the world to see. Then readers interact with those stories and share them with the world.

To open these doors, you cannot be distracted by other things in life that prevent you from writing and publishing. Distractions lead to delays which lead to missed opportunities.
