Don’t Lose Your Way, Friend
Keep being the person of your wildest dreams
“Do something you love.”
I think I’ve heard or read that phrase about a million times in my life. And people will tell you their opinions about it, for sure.
Some will say, “Don’t follow your interests or you will end up poor."
Others will say, “Follow the money and do the hard work that nobody wants."
If you want my opinion, I will give it to you. It’s pretty simple.
My advice is, “Follow your dreams wherever they take you in life and pursue your passions."
Life is often more than just one decision or another. It is often a series of different ideas and choices that never have to be the final anything.
Here is an example. One time I moved to Los Angeles, California. I didn’t know anybody there and there was no job waiting for me.
Why did I do it? Simple enough. I was pursuing a career in media and entertainment and I really wanted to be in Los Angeles.
Did it work out? No, not at all.
