What will you write about?

That’s the question!

Yes, often it is the most important question for a writer. It is urgent, too, because you are going to need to figure it out so that you have something to publish.

Have you ever run out of ideas? It’s nothing to be ashamed of. Seriously, it’s happened to a lot of people.

“I’ve got nothing," is something I’ve said out loud a few times, and I just didn’t fight it and went to bed instead.

To me it doesn’t make sense to write when your body and mind are telling you that you need a break.

Do you need some ideas?

  • The Bible. If you are a religious person, you might find inspiration in The Holy Scripture. You can also use a different religious book, maybe something other than the Holy Bible. I went to Sunday School to study Christianity and the Christian church and so I know I can always write about something from that time of my life.
  • Resilience. Have you ever had a dark time in my life? If so, then that means I’m not the only one. In my toughest moments, I kept telling myself to “get to the other side of this and things will get better." Well, they did get better in many ways.
