Then get to that part of the day every chance you get on this planet

Are you a night owl? Do you get excited about the evening hours so that you can write until the moon shows up?

Or do you prefer early mornings? After all, you can do some good writing before you start your long day.

I say that a lot of success as a writer or content creator has to do with whether or not you are working in your prime writing time. You have to figure that time for yourself and see what works for you.

As for me, I prefer the late night hours between ten p.m. and eleven p.m., and maybe it’s because that time is so quiet and peaceful. It’s my own time then and I can do whatever I want to do.

Prime Writing Time

What happens after you figure out the time of day or night that works best for you as a writer or storyteller? Well, go and get to your spot, like an actor in a play.

Being consistent is the name of the game on this planet. You have got to get to your spots, your prime writing times, every chance that you get.

  • Are you on vacation? That shouldn’t stop you.
  • Are you busy with chores? Those can wait. I mean, of course they can.
  • Are you watching a television program? Seriously, stop that and go write something.

It’s not easy being a writer, but you can help yourself succeed by finding the times during the day that work best for you. After that, you just need to come up with good story ideas, do the writing, and then hit publish. Repeat the process as often as possible. And then celebrate!
