And other events of recent days

All night long I heard the lightning and then the morning brought the thunderstorms.

The blazing heat is never-ending and the humidity comes sideways.

It’s strange weather these days in the Bay Area of Northern California and I’m glad we’re staying indoors.

Temperatures are expected to get to close to 110 degrees Fahrenheit today and the next few days.

Thank goodness there is no in-person onsite schooling planned for a long while.

Rolling blackouts hit in our town and surrounding cities and counties yesterday.

I send prayers to those who have lost their power and I pray for power to be restored.

It’s Sunday now, a day of rest, but it’s hard to calm the mind sometimes.

The risk of a big fire is so great now, due to the extreme heat. It’s getting hard to be in control of anything. We will do our best.

Signing off for now.
