Being a writer these days is not easy. Success can be elusive and it can be hard to find your way.

But writers write. That’s what they do, and they just always find a way to make their voices heard.

If you are new to Medium, you may be wondering how you can be successful on the platform and make money. There are a number of things to remember.

First, make sure you write what you want to write about. This makes things a lot easier. After all, it will not seem like hard work if you are having a good time.

Imagine if you loved sports and a media company hired you to write about sports events while they paid for you to attend them. That sounds really awesome to me and I would want that position very much. It would not seem like work to me, no not one bit, because I would be having so much fun.

Second, find and connect with other writers. Discover and follow other writers on Medium and really enjoy their work.
