Free Shipping At No Charge
I am learning to appreciate every little nice thing that comes around, my friend
Today I placed an online order for pickup at a local store, and of course I made sure that every item was in stock and available for pickup at that location.
I paid for the order and waited for my confirmation email. Soon I received their email but there was a special comment
“One item is no longer available at this location,” it said.
Oh no, I figured that this would happen and that there would be some extra charge.
“No problem," continued the message. “We are providing free, complimentary shipping on this item."
Oh good, that was fine with me. But I wondered why they said “free" in two different ways.
That’s funny, I thought, unless they were making sure I really, truly understood what they were communicating.
Last month I stayed at a hotel and of course they had plenty of nice amenities to be enjoyed by the guests.
