I really like free stuff.
It’s true!
If you know me at all, you have probably figured out that I like bargains, deals, saving money, and discounts. Plus, I like free things too. Not everything that is free is worth taking, but a lot is for sure.
So I am writing to give a big thank you to Medium for sending me the free tote bag for being a Friend of Medium. I got it today!
Now, I believe there was a limit to a total of 500 or something like that, so that is quite a good number out of the approximately ten thousand total Medium members who are Friends of Medium.
When the Friend of Medium program first started, I confess that I was not one of the first hundred people who signed up. I’m not even sure what number I ended up becoming, but eventually I joined. Often I regret that I did not join earlier than I did, but that is what happens in life. You live and you learn and life goes on.
Why did I join the Friend of Medium program? Well, it seemed like the right thing to do and it still seems to be. First, I have the chance of earning more, or the content I read can increase its earnings, or maybe there’s a combination of both of these. I’m not an expert on the details…
