You need to go have some fun and not stress so much. It’s true. There’s no way around it.
But how can we have fun when there is so much stress in the world, when people are faced with existential challenges, when even the most basic tasks are so complicated these days?
That is exactly why we need to make time for fun and recreation. If not, we will surely go insane.
What are some fun things we can do?
- We can play board games
- We can watch movies together on a big screen in the home
- We can play in the garden
- We can paint on an easel
- We can make water balloons
It is very easy to think of fun things to do. Oh, and don’t get me started about fun things to do in the kitchen. Okay, here are some suggestions for you and your family:
- Bake cookies
- Make a cake
- Make cupcakes
I could bake these things every weekend and enjoy every minute of it. And of course I would enjoy eating the fruits of my labor.
We have got to remind ourselves to have some fun and find ways to experience recreation. Of course we still have to be careful and wear masks and everything else. And we need to avoid crowds and keep up on the social distancing.
But fun has to be a priority. We need a way to escape all of the things that are filling our minds with worry and causing us to lose sleep.
We have to smile every once in a while, and having fun really brings out the joy in our souls. So go ahead and have some fun today and make sure you share it with somebody else.
