A lot of people want more energy or need more energy. Some even dream about having more energy and what it would be like. Maybe more energy would help them be more successful, or smarter, or thinner.

But how do you get more energy for your body? There are certainly lots of things you can buy that seem to indicate that they might be able to help, but it’s hard to know for sure.

I’m not a medical expert or fitness guru or anything like that, so I’m really going to just write about things that help me to have more energy. Maybe these tips can help you too.

  1. Drink more water. Now this is not exciting or sexy at all. Drink more water? I mean, I rather like spring water myself, especially with ice, but there’s a lot of people who don’t think water is the most interesting beverage on the planet. But from what I’ve heard, most people don’t drink enough water and drink too many beverages that have excess sugar, caffeine, or both. You don’t have to go overboard with water, of course.
  2. Exercise more. Yes, exercise is likely to help you get more energy. I know from experience that I seem to have more energy on the days when I exercise. How is that? Well, my guess is that the energy you have is equivalent to the energy you expend, or something like that.
  3. Get more sleep. Sleep matters a lot, and not just any kind of sleep. You need quality sleep with a good number of hours, and don’t fall behind more and more as the days go by. Your body knows when it does not get enough sleep.
  4. Eat healthy food. Do you eat a lot of complex healthy foods like vegetables and nuts that are good for you? Or do you eat too many fake processed foods that have preservatives? Remind yourself that your body is your Temple and it deserves the best.
  5. Spend time with your lover. I don’t want to get into specifics on this particular suggestion. But I will say that adult men and women have needs and, well, it can be a healthy vigorous time when they, you know, express their love for each other and all that.
