Whenever a story gets traction, it’s time to celebrate because that is awesome. Yes! Seriously, it’s not easy to get noticed as a writer these days.

Sometimes you may not even expect your story to do well but then somehow it gets noticed by more and more readers. That’s what is great about creating new content.

What is happening to make your writing do well? There could be many reasons.

• It taps into a zeitgeist
• You understand your audience
• Your emotions have guided you
• Others see something you didn’t
• Or simply the words and ideas work very well together

Today I found myself at a big shopping center. It was so crowded, which makes me wonder how so many people can be in one place.

“Move along now," said a man to me as he was driving his big SUV out of the parking lot. I guess I wasn’t moving quickly enough out of the area for vehicular traffic.
