Today I found myself on some app that showed me videos that were suggested and recommended for me, though I have never even hinted that I wanted to see them.
“What’s the deal?"
The app said it didn’t have anything new from my current feed. I guess this meant that it felt obligated to show me something, anything, so that I would stick around, so that they could make money that they never share with me.
Come on!
That’s like going to the wrong address of a friend and the people who answer keep trying to get you not to walk away to find where you really want to go.
Well, I thought, I’m not sticking around on this other boring app.
