One Great Story Of Yours Could Become A Book Or Even An Exciting Movie

Today I was thinking about how nice it would be to have a book signing where people bought your book and said things like, “I really loved your story and it touched me greatly and emotionally.”
Maybe there is a line of people out the door at this bookstore and you can hear people say, “I heard it started as a little story online and now it might get made into a movie. It’s wonderful for him and we all knew him before he became famous and known around the world.”
Okay, maybe I’m a dreamer and stuff like that, but it’s worth a try, right?
Today we got something in the mail and it’s a nice letter and all, but they were really just writing to say that we lost the contest and don’t feel bad because a zillion people entered and good luck next year. But I’m honestly glad that we tried.
Do stories ever become popular enough that they are optioned into a book or movie? Yes, they absolutely do. Granted, this seems to happen at famous publications, but it doesn’t have to be that way all of the time.
