It’s been too long. I can’t remember when it last rained in California, but it feels like it has been a very long time, even many months in fact.
We need the rain.
I remember when I was a kid in the 1980s and it seemed to rain week after week in the Central Valley. There seemed to be no end of it and everyone was stuck indoors.
Now, not so much.
I understand that there are millions of people in other parts of the country that get too much rain, or they get hurricanes and tropical storms, and I have no idea what that is like. I feel for you and wish you the best.
But we need rain in California. We really do.
You may have heard about all the big fires and how they happen year after year. I’m no expert, but I’m pretty sure that a lot more rain would help prevent some of these fires or at least slow them down.
We could sure use some rain.
