Success can be elusive. Have you ever looked for a job and then got rejected? That’s happened to me. Have other people with fewer qualifications gotten the job that you wanted? I’ve been there and I understand how it feels.
The good news is that there are many opportunities all around us, both visible and invisible.
Just think about it. How many open positions are available right now that are not advertised or listed?
I bet the number is in the millions. Seriously.
Why is that? I believe that there are decision makers who want to hire people but don’t want to go through all of the steps to do so.
What does that mean for those who are looking for work? First, keep trying. Second, look for companies that you admire and where you want to be employed, and commit yourself to working there one day, no matter how long it takes. Third, never give up.
One time a cousin of mine wanted to work at a specific hiring. He was persistent but also polite and patient.
He kept trying and waiting. Eventually he got hired and he has told me many times “I love my job."
Kick start your confidence. Be proud of yourself and go and find success.
Look for things that you love and places you can’t wait to be. Fire up your excitement and go out and be someone in this world.
