Fun reading is something you do when you just want to relax. Medium has all kinds of different writing content and you get to pick what you want to read and when you want to read it.
Beyond the variety of excitement from different writers, you can actually build up friendships and communication with others. Some are more open to communicate, of course, so take your time and give them space. You never know the good things that can happen if you stick around on Medium.
Get Paid To Write
I remember the first penny I ever made writing for the Medium platform. Seriously, I do. I remember it because it was a big deal.
I saw the amount earned as one cent and I raised my hand in the air and said, “Yes, I found it."
What is the big deal about a single copper penny?
The big deal is that you can get paid to write. And if you love writing and the whole creative process, then making money doing what you love is a great deal on this planet.
Should you rush and quit your day job? Absolutely not. Don’t even think about it.

Yes, people come and go in life. Even on Medium, you may find some friends and they may go away and disappear.
Hopefully those who disappear for a while will come back eventually. Some do and some don’t.
I know of one person whom I haven’t seen on Medium for a long time. It’s not for me to ask the reasons why. But please know for sure that the person is missed.
Medium, for me, used to be like running a race that I’m never going to win. So I had to decide if I’m going to try to win, or if I’m going to do my best to have a good time.
