I watched the sunset

Without you

And I wondered

Why the colors

Were not the same

I mean

They were there

Where they were supposed to be

But not

Like they used to be

When we held hands

And smiled

So much back then

And how we didn’t

Have many worries at all

But times changed

As they often do

I watched the sunset with you

You were not

Actually with me

I just pretended

And I know

It’s wrong

To hold your hand

In my imagination

When you don’t know

About it

But I wonder

Where is the harm

But yet there is harm

One of us

Moved on

And one didn’t

So we all know

Which is which

Don’t we
