If you read the news, you would think that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris had already won the November election.
Look at the headlines and you would think that the winner is a certainty, that the polls are correct, and that things are going to go exactly the direction that the pollsters predict.
Hmmm. This all seems very familiar.
Some people may not remember what happened four years ago. Back then it seemed like every single newspaper in the United States was endorsing Hillary Clinton and also predicting her victory.
Now I still don’t understand what happened four years ago for so many people to be at completely wrong. What happened there?
Anyway, the point is that the polls could be wrong again.
People are fed up. They are fired up too!
Some people say we’re headed in the wrong direction as a country and we need change in a hurry.
Others say that if there is a new political party in charge, you can expect the stock market to crash and business and personal bankruptcies to skyrocket.
Will all of this happen? I don’t know.
The one thing I know for sure is that this is the time to get out and vote. Be a part of the process and be informed about the issues and the candidates.
The election may be contested this year like never before. There may be court challenges that go all the way to the Supreme Court.
We may have someone who will not concede a loss no matter how big it is. That would be interesting in a very different way.
I believe that we will get by. We will succeed as a country.
No matter what happens during the upcoming U.S.A. election in November, we will move onward and upward.
