Things Are Really Getting Tougher By The Minute
It’s hard to keep up with the increased costs and expenses on every other thing nowadays
Just ten minutes ago, I felt okay about something.
“It’s only five dollars a month," I said. “So just take another look and consider it."
And that’s what I did. I opened the app and was about to sign up for the monthly program when something stopped me.
“Seven dollars and ninety-nine cents!"
I couldn’t believe it and of course I decided against it.
When did it increase by three dollars? I didn’t even know this happened.
It’s hard to even believe it was worth it at five dollars a month, and now it is definitely not worth it. That’s my opinion, of course, and maybe this cost is nothing to a fellow with deeper pockets.
Well, let me try to relax and find something to watch, like a new video series.
Okay, there’s a new show I want to see and I heard they just dropped the new series online so I am going to look into that.
I’m not going to mention the name of this new American comedy program, because that’s a rabbit hole of controversy, but I will say that I am definitely interested in watching this one.
First step, find out which app has the rights to the series and if it is available. Thess answers were easy to find.
Second step, check the cost for the app.
Third step, forget all of this because now they are charging thirteen bucks a month and that is outrageous.
Maybe I am just cost sensitive, or price conscious, or whatever you might want to call it. All I know for sure is that things are getting more expensive and it’s happening rather quickly.
Yesterday I got a notice from the power company that electric costs are going to be significantly higher this winter. Why is that? I mean, I get it that people are using a lot more electricity so that has to come from somewhere.
