Spring is coming fast to many parts of the world. If your neck of the woods is starting to heat up, maybe you should start thinking how to make your yard or garden more wonderful than ever.
It’s been cold here in California but I can feel the days getting hotter. That means I have work to do in my garden.
I like plants, flowers and vines that grow big and strong. I love lots of color too.

What can you do this weekend to make sure your garden thrives? Here are some ideas that I have.
- Clear out the junk.
- Rake up the leaves.
- Get rid of clutter.
- Remove dead plants and bushes.
- Create more open spaces.
These things are a great starting point. Make your garden easy on the eyes. It’s a lot like cleaning out your closet.
I have some more ideas after you’ve taken your first steps.
- Mix up the soil.
- Pull out weeds.
- Add some fresh soil.
What about vines? I love plants that climb up and around. Make sure the vines have something to attach to easily.
Lastly, maybe now is the time to do some trimming. I know my rose bush grows too high, so I need to work on that.
Hope you can use these tips and suggestions for your garden. Do you know that a beautiful yard or garden might increase your property value? It should put a smile on your face to see pretty plants and flowers.
