Upgrades And Extra Fees Are Getting Out Of Control
We are paying too much these days!
The other day I was out and about and I took a picture of the sign in the picture above this paragraph.
It says, “ticket required for entry” and then after that it talks about an upgrade.
Hey, I get it. Times are tough. Standard fares and regular fees are not going to be enough to pay expenses and costs. There is a serious need to ask for upgrades and add-on costs.
I understand it all, but I do not like it.
Do you ever feel bombarded by all of the places, either virtual or in real life, where they ask you to subscribe? Seriously, the numbers grow every day.
Recently I shopped around for a maintenance shop to do some work on the house. They gave me a quote for the cost of the work. Do you know what else they gave me? Well, they mentioned how I could save ten percent on the job if I signed up for their monthly membership fee. Well, I almost fell off my chair because I never heard of that kind of company offering such a thing.
Some websites offer very tempting prices on monthly plans. One entertainment company keeps offering me their plan of zero costs for six months. Well, my answer is “no" to that deal.
