GARAGE SALES
If you have stuff in storage or closets full of extra clothes, you can always spend a weekend doing a garage sale.
Post signs in the neighborhood with your address. Make sure the signs are easy to read and have big arrows. Remember, your goal is to make people find your place so you can earn money from selling your stuff to them, so your signs need to be clear, helpful and informative.
Put price tags on the things you are selling. Don’t make things complicated and force people to ask about prices. Also, make sure you have low prices that get people to open their wallets and purses. For me, my goal is to sell as much as possible and as quickly as possible.
I remember doing yard sales when I was a kid and I loved the process of just sitting there and earning money every time I sold something. You can do it too!
