What Do Birds Do At Night?

No, seriously, I really want to know the answer.

We’ve all heard the old question about animals and birds and where they go at night.

And I know that most wild animals have some nest or hole in the ground.

But there is no way that all of the pigeons in the world have their own private nest. It’s impossible.

So where do all the pigeons go at night when all the people go home? My best guess is that they sleep on top of a building. I don’t think they would all get shut-eye on the grass.

Here are some ideas:

• Sleep in trees
• Rest on top of buildings
• Hide in bushes
• Sleep on the water

This whole thing is bothering me. I guess I could always go on a search engine and find out easy enough.

But where’s the fun in that?

I may just decide to sneak out at night and head on over to the lake and find out once and for all.
