Why Books Matter
They are a joy to read and are full of adventure, instruction and insight
Books still matter. Even in the age of technology and electronic devices, books are important for the mind and for success.
Fiction books help the mind escape into a world of fun and excitement. Be it romance or detective stories, historical fiction or zombies, there is a lot of thrill that can be discovered in fiction.
Non-fiction books are wonderful too. Think about books that teach you computer software and coding and how helpful they are. Consider biographies and autobiographies and how much you can learn about people.
For people who write books, I salute you for the hard work that you do. It is a struggle for the average author to make money at their craft. I encourage them to continue, to keep doing what they do in creating books and novels.
Spend more time at the library and use your library card. Encourage cities and counties to make libraries a high priority for funding.
Books are some of the most wonderful things on Earth. Take the time today to obtain more books for you and your family. You will be happy that you did.
