The world is changing faster than I can type this sentence. By the time I finish this paragraph, I do not want to even think about reading the news.
If you are like me, you might be thinking about emergency plans, contingency solutions, and a long list of other things. Everything seems to be closing in quickly and it is too much to handle.
But don’t panic. Don’t fret and worry and lose all kinds of sleep. You need to keep your wits and wisdom, and then after that you must focus on what you can do to preserve cash.
The next step will be to keep earning money. But what if all of a sudden you cannot leave your home? Well, don’t give up. You need to start working on your new money-making work-from-home career.
Here are my suggestions on how you can start working from home and making money. I am not suggesting or implying that it will be easy. And I can’t even say that the money will come easily or come at all. There are way too many factors that determine if you can or will be able to create income from working from your house or apartment.
The following suggestions are simply things I have heard about that may work. You might want to investigate them first before you commit any time and effort to them, or you might want to try completely different things.
Here are my suggestions:
- Become a writer on Medium. A lot of people do this and I know that people supplement their income by writing stories and articles. Check into this and see if your passion for the written word can help you earn money on the side.
- Become a Virtual Assistant. Think about your internet and computer skills and how you can use them to make other people successful or help them increase sales.
- Create a Twitter profile. It is not easy to make money on Twitter, but some people actually do it. At the very least you can use it as a free micro-blog to promote your services.
- Make cookies. Yes, people love these and they are fun to make. If you can’t sell them, you can always eat them.
- Babysit. You can earn money by babysitting your nieces, nephews, or cousins.
- Daycare. Your family members or neighbors may need you to watch their children. Check on licensing requirements.
Please remember to seek help if you feel overwhelmed, start to panic, or can’t handle things. Find someone to talk to right away. Call friends and relatives.
Keep in communication with those who can help. Be strong and powerful and remember that you and your family are loved.
