Writing Can Be Fun

Have a good time creating content wherever you are or wherever you want to be

My mind has been thinking about the fires this week in Los Angeles, California.

I’ve lived in that city and county quite a few times in my life and I always think fondly of my writing adventures in L.A.

You can have a lot of fun in Los Angeles any day of the week. I remember many relaxing days on the beach in Santa Monica, and many weekends camping in the hills near Pasadena.

I remember being a young writer living in a big residential building with young college kids as we tried to plan our futures. Good times.

So of course I am sending prayers to Los Angeles and wishing a speedy end to the fires and destruction.

Writing can be fun. It doesn’t have to be a chore or a job, but it can be an escape into adventure, romance and excitement.

I dreamed about becoming a screenwriter when I lived in Los Angeles back in the day. It was fun to type a television script and try to get it submitted. I didn’t have much luck but it was great fun giving it a try.

I did end up getting onto a few movie or TV sets for one reason or another and that was always a great experience. Just getting to be around famous actors was a blast.

Try and have fun whenever you write or create new content. Enjoy the process and see where it takes you. Adventure awaits.
