You Can Find Bargains
Try to save money this year if you can because it’s great to find good deals
This weekend something good happened. And that’s always wonderful when it happens.
It almost didn’t happen.
You see, I stopped going to thrift stores even since my favorite place, Thrift Town, closed in Northern California. I actually cried when those stores went out of business, and I’m sure I wasn’t the only one. We got so many good deals. And we saved so much money.
When discount stores close, it hurts a lot of people. Seriously, people need thrift stores. Where else can you fill up your shipping cart and pay so little? It’s so sad when thrift stores go out of business.
Anyway, my story today is about this past weekend. Somebody gave us a flyer for a thrift store where everything is a dollar or less.
Would I go?
Well, if you know me at all, you know that you couldn’t keep me away if you tried. Not with wild horses or slow molasses.
So we went and had a grand time looking for clothes at the best prices possible.
Were they the best quality imaginable?
No.
Was the selection full of my sizes?
No.
