Your True Writing Paths
Go your own way with your stories and promote your work to fans and followers
The other day I saw these footsteps on the floor of a local museum. See photo above.
“That’s very cool," I thought.
It certainly is fun. Plus, it’s very helpful as a way to get visitors to go in a certain direction. I loved it.
“This way!"
That’s the message, I believe, that the museum is trying to send. It worked on me because I couldn’t resist.
I went straight into the room to see the first part of the special exhibit.
What do signs and directions do? Well, they lead guests to places you want them to see and experience. Let’s say a business spends time and money on something special? You can bet that they are going to want to share it with others.
As writers, it is our duty to give signs, directions, and indicators to our fans and followers so they can find our stories.
It’s not enough for writers to create content and hope that readers find it. That’s like a museum doing a special exhibit and not telling people where to find it.
