Your Writing Legacy
Will you leave an impression?
I saw some statues recently.
Good work, fine craftsmanship too. And then I wondered about a few things.
- How long did it take?
- Did they have help?
- How long will they stay there?
That got me thinking about my own legacy as a writer. Will it last? Will people remember my name and ask about me?
Well, I guess that means that I better stand out, work hard, and commit myself to lasting as long as humanly possible.
We can do better as writers.
Seriously.
Think of the very best content creators on the planet. Consider the top writers at major news media organizations.
We can do like they do. We can write awesome content that begs to be read and that is shared around the planet.
The first step is showing up. We can’t walk away when the going gets tough.
The next step is working hard. Do your very best every chance that you get.
The last step is to show up again on another day and to try harder.
